This is my first post on the new blogging platform called BlogFather. It's from Veretekk. Right now it doesn't have any bells or whistles to it but those will be coming soon. I'm going to be using it, at some point, for my Wanderingsalsero posts. Probably I'll wait till they add such things as sidebars and HTML posting and image posting. One of the things that's really cool about BF is that it's totally free and it comes with it's own RSS feed mechanism. I don't totally understand RSS feeds but I know I need to. So, I'll be participating in the training that is available withing the Veretekk system. For anybody who's had the thought that they would like to learn about 'internet marketing', Veretekk is the place where you can get the best training available on the internet. And it's totally free. My suggestion for somebody who either (a) has a business they'd like to promote on the internet, or (b) would like to know enough about internet marketing to make an intelligent choice about what kind of business they'd like to have on the internet.....they should first sign up for their own BlogFather blog. They can do that here (somewhere :-) Secondly they should click over the http://wanderingsalsero.veretekk.com and sign up for their own FREE Veretekk Silver System. The best part of that 'deal' is that you get tons of the best training on the internet (at ANY price) totally for free. You can, in fact, even make a few bucks by learning how to use your free Silver System. Once you begin to feel more confidence in what you're doing with your Silver System, you can make the decision to upgrade to the Gold System which is only $41.00 @ month. The advantage of having a Gold System (like I do) is that you can do so much more with it. I'm very pleased with myself that I have kept my system all these 4 years (more or less) that I've had it. Even though I've not make any money with it and I was never able to get my mind totally around it, I always knew that eventually it would become user friendly enough for even me to be able to do it. Over this last year I've seen rapid improvements in the Veretekk mechanisms and now, finally, it's ready to rock and roll. I'm glad I'm here. My dream is to have a 'no-base' business that'll allow me to work the hours I want to work, make some decent money, and be able to pursue the activities I enjoy doing. Obviously dancing is one of those activities. But there are others. Anyway...here's my first post. There will be more. Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking...... Yeah, sure! Well, I'm excited to be opening this "BlogFather" (BF)blog. It's the newest example of internet marketing creativity from Tom Prendergast, Mike Darling and the folks at http://www.veretekk.com. I'm not totally sure exactly what I'm going to do with it but the one thing about that I know, and like, is that it's totally free and it has some very cool RSS features. And I'm certain that if I use this platform correctly by integrating it with my Veretekk Gold system and perhaps even some Silver systems, that I can get excellent search engines rankings in whatever categories I chose. I just need to decide what my business is.....! That would help wouldn't it ? :-) RSS is something that I'm going to have to get to understand better. Anybody who's making any serious money on the internet nowadays uses RSS. All the 'big dogs' in the Veretekk community who are using RSS swear by it. Right now, BlogFather doesn't have any 'bells and whistles' to speak of....i.e. nothing like blogger.com or typepad.com. It doesn't even have sidebars. But, based on the recent Sunday evening state-of-the-system conference from Tom Prendergast and Mike Darling, it will be 'tricked out' with lots of those types of goodies in the very near future. One good thing about it right now is that if I want to add any html coding I'll have to do it entirely by hand. There was a time when I would have been very intimidated by that but I now think I know enough to do any the basic stuff that I need to do. When I look back at all the ups and downs that I've been through with this Veretekk system it makes me really glad that I stuck with it. Not that I'm using it to make money like lots of the other Veretekkies are. For some reason it was always sorta hard to get my mind around. I don't know why. Part of it was the technical problems in getting everything to work well, and consistently. Even Tom Prendergast will admit that it took lot longer to lay the foundation than he anticipated. But Tom hung in there and persevered. And I did too because I knew that even a stopped clock is 'on time' twice a day. I knew that eventually, if Tom didn't have a heart attack and if I kept on learning....even if it was at a very slow pace.....I knew that eventually the sun and stars and moon would be properly aligned and things would begin to work. That time has arrived. We're finally there. Things work now. Now I've got to make a choice of what business I'm going to promote and get busy using the tremendous power of Veretekk technology and strategies to make some money. I'm certainly not going to stop salsa dancing or give up my musical interests. in fact I'll be shifting some of my Typepad publishing activity over to this system. It might be gradual but there's no doubt I'm headed that way. And, if I can learn how to articulate what I'm doing in such a way that my salsa community friends can see the benefits, I think they'll want to use some of these tools too. All this won't take place tomorrow but.......this is a start. For anybody that reads this post I'd highly encourage you to get your own BlogFather blog and start blogging.
